AUBURN, Ala. – The City of Auburn Parks and Recreation invites the community to a special Plaque Ceremony on Wednesday, April 30, at 5:30 p.m. at Duck Samford Park, Fields 8–10 (Plaque Wall), to honor the Auburn Babe Ruth 13U team, champions of the 2024 Southwest Regional Tournament.

The ceremony will recognize the team’s outstanding achievement and dedication throughout the season. Their regional championship title reflects months of hard work, teamwork, and sportsmanship, proudly representing Auburn on a competitive stage.

Team members to be honored include Bennett Brown, Cannon Carmichael, James Griffin, Javari Holley, Brewer Hussey, Inman Moore, Hudson Olive, Evan Pender, Caleb Schlereth, Thad Swartzentruber, Walker Thrower, and Dane Wells. The team was led by Head Coach TJ Pearson and Assistant Coaches Randy Griffin and Jeremy Holley.

This event serves as a celebration not only for the players and coaches but also for their families and the broader Auburn community. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
